TERMS OF SERVICE

LEGEND.vet is an independent, self-directed online service that helps veterans identify potentially claimable conditions, organize their information and evidence, and better understand the VA disability claims process.

LEGEND.vet is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The service provides educational, organizational, and informational tools based on information provided by the veteran. LEGEND.vet does not independently create or verify facts concerning a veteran's military service, medical history, symptoms, diagnoses, or experiences.

The $399 service includes symptom-to-condition guidance, an interview-style intake, professional review of the veteran's responses, delivery of a complete documentation package, including a compensation and pension preparation guide and a next-steps letter, and the appeal assistance described in Section 8.

The veteran is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information provided and for reviewing all information and materials before submitting anything to the VA.

LEGEND.vet is not:

• A law firm or legal service.
• A VA-accredited attorney or claims agent.
• A Veterans Service Organization.
• A representative of the VA or any government agency.
• A medical provider.

LEGEND.vet does not represent veterans before the VA and does not file claims with the VA on a veteran's behalf.

Use of LEGEND.vet does not create an attorney-client, representative, or other professional relationship.

LEGEND.vet provides general educational and organizational information only.

Nothing provided through the service constitutes legal advice, medical advice, a diagnosis, medical opinion, nexus opinion, legal opinion, or a guarantee concerning an individual claim.

Veterans are responsible for seeking qualified legal, medical, or other professional advice when appropriate.

The VA alone determines:

• Whether a condition is service connected.
• The disability rating.
• The effective date.
• Eligibility for compensation or other benefits.
• The amount of compensation awarded.

LEGEND.vet cannot control, predict, or guarantee any VA decision, rating, effective date, benefit, or compensation amount.

The VA may request additional evidence, examinations, or other development at its discretion.

The veteran is responsible for:

• Providing truthful and complete information.
• Reviewing all information provided through the service.
• Correcting errors or omissions.
• Ensuring any claim submitted to the VA accurately reflects the veteran's actual circumstances and evidence.
• Reviewing, signing, and submitting any applicable VA forms or other materials.

LEGEND.vet does not guarantee that information provided by a veteran is complete, accurate, or sufficient to establish entitlement to VA benefits.

A request for an increased rating may result in the VA re-evaluating an existing condition. The rating may stay the same, increase, or decrease.

LEGEND.vet is not responsible for a reduction in benefits, back pay, or compensation resulting from a VA re-evaluation or review.

LEGEND.vet provides a money-back guarantee subject to these Terms.

If none of the conditions included in the applicable claim are granted service connection by the VA, LEGEND.vet will refund the $399 service fee, provided all requirements below are satisfied.

A condition is considered granted when the VA awards service connection and a disability rating, including a 0% rating.

If the VA denies a condition included in the veteran's first paid Claim Builder submission, the veteran may return through the process one time for appeal assistance at no additional charge.

Appeal assistance begins only after the VA has issued decisions on every condition included in that submission. The veteran must provide all applicable VA decision letters so LEGEND.vet can review the denial reasons and favorable findings before assisting with the appeal.

This assistance applies only to denied conditions included in the first paid Claim Builder submission. It does not include representation before the VA, legal advice, medical opinions, new conditions, or conditions first raised after that submission.

The LEGEND.vet service costs $399 as a one-time fee.

The fee does not include services or expenses obtained independently from third parties, including medical examinations, medical opinions, nexus opinions, medical records, or other professional services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LEGEND.vet's liability arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount actually paid for the service giving rise to the claim.

LEGEND.vet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost benefits, compensation, back pay, or delays in receiving VA benefits, except where prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

LEGEND.vet may collect and process information provided through the service in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

By using the service, the veteran agrees that LEGEND.vet may communicate electronically regarding the account, purchase, service, support, refund requests, and other matters related to the service.

LEGEND.vet may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service, including its tools, educational content, functionality, and pricing.

Changes to pricing will not retroactively change the amount paid for a completed purchase unless required by law.

By purchasing or using LEGEND.vet, the veteran acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If the veteran does not agree to these Terms, they should not use or purchase the service.

These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to applicable federal law.

Any provisions concerning arbitration, dispute resolution, venue, jurisdiction, or class actions should be finalized with qualified legal counsel.
